Our classes meet in-person on Sunday mornings. We are always looking for talented teachers and members of the faith community to teach in our Program. If you feel a calling to share your faith with the children and teens of our parish, please call the office and let us know.
IC Book Study Group
Into His Likeness: Be Transformed as a Disciple of Christ by Edward Sri is the current focus of study of Companions on the Journey, a small group of senior women who meet weekly in a private home to share our lives, learn more about our faith, and grow in holiness. At present Companions on the Journey is at capacity, but as an apostolate of the Church, it is open to all senior Catholic women. If you would like to be informed of the creation of new groups, openings in the existing group, or would like more information, please contact Christina Burbeck, firstname.lastname@example.org, 910-619-0726.
We encourage all parishioners to consider reading Edward Sri’s short book. It is highly readable and has reflection questions at the end of each chapter to help you apply what you read to your own life. From the book cover: “Too many people have a cold, impersonal faith. In Into His Likeness, Dr. Edward Sri shatters this view and leads us on a breathtaking journey into a personal relationship with Jesus.” Jennifer Fulwiler, author of One Beautiful Dream.
