Dear Brothers and Sisters, A few weeks ago, I was approached by Cindy Dorsey a long time Marlborough resident. She introduced me to a great idea of how to share with the people of Marlborough, Southborough and Northborough the wonderful things that are happening in the surrounding Parishes. We are exposed every day to terrible news while there is a lot of good things happening all around us. I am pleased to announce that there will be a new Catholic magazine which will be mailed to the homes of families of Immaculate Conception Parish at no cost to you. The name of the magazine is Marlborough & Southborough Parish Neighbors. This magazine was launched in the Diocese of Worcester and began in 2021 thanks to Decided Excellence Catholic Media, the fastest-growing media company in the United States and a leader in publishing local, faith-based, community magazines across the country. It is my hope that we get excited with all the good things happening in the Boroughs. I also hope that this initiative will encourage you to read more material regarding our Church and our faith. As I often share with you good books that I read, it is my hope that we deepen our faith while reading these books. Most recently, I suggested the book Treatise on Prayer by St. Alphonsus Liguori. We are grateful to Cindy Dorsey whom many know from Emmanuel Catholic Radio, whose vision for this magazine is being brought to fruition, for reaching out to us to be included in this magazine. Evangelization is the truest purpose of the magazine. Cindy, the parish staff and I are working extremely hard together to bring people both to God and back to God through this beautiful color magazine that will include Gospel readings, a Calendar of Events, Pastors letters, Catholic prayers and articles, a Parishioner Family feature, a Children’s page and much more. This is another way the parish is reaching out to keep us all connected. God Bless, Fr. Steven **************************************** New Bulletin Company - Pilot Bulletins Immaculate Conception Parish has a new bulletin company - Pilot Bulletins! The transition to Pilot Bulletins has been seamless and we are happy to be working with them. The parish bulletins are not paid by the Parish but by the advertisers or local business. Not only do they print the bulletins for free but they also give us a little share of the proceeds from the advertiser. Please think about advertising your business in the bulletin and support the businesses of our fellow parishioners. If you are interested in advertising call Ken Romano at Pilot Bulletins at 617-779-3771. Comments are closed.
