IC Music Ministry
The Immaculate Conception Parish is blessed with an active music ministry program consisting of the Parish Choir, Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME), The Upper Room, Children's Choir and many gifted cantors. Our goal is to provide music from the traditional to new liturgical works by contemporary composers to updated versions of traditional hymns in such a way as to enhance the liturgical celebration and encourage the active participation of our congregation. The Parish Choir rehearses on Thursday night at 7:30 in the Upper Church and participates in the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday morning as well as at Special Liturgies as scheduled. If you love to sing or if you play an instrument and would like to participate in special liturgies please contact Roger Mansen, Director of Music at rmansen@icschool.net.
CONTEMPORARY MUSIC ENSEMBLE (CME)
The CME rehearses on Tuesday night at 7:00 in the Upper Church and participates in the 9:00 am Mass on Sunday morning as well at Special Liturgies as scheduled. The Upper Room brings the latest in contemporary worship music to Immaculate Conception Parish. They Upper Room participates in the 5:00 pm Mass on Sunday and Special Liturgies as scheduled.
